Sarah holds a Master of Public Health from the École des Hautes Études en Santé Publique, France, a Bachelor of Health Sciences from the Université de Lorraine, France and a Bachelor of Chemistry from the Université du Québec à Montréal, where she contributed to published research on CO₂ capture. During her studies, she focused on how environmental exposures and social inequities shape health outcomes, with particular interest in climate adaptation and vulnerable populations.
She has worked with the OECD on climate and health, contributing to analyses of how countries integrate health into their national climate adaptation policies. At Speak Up Africa, she coordinated an innovation program and supported the evaluation of a multi‑year grant, working with governments, civil society, and innovators. She has also conducted research in Paris on maternal mental health and lead exposure with the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement, and in Abidjan on dietary patterns among diabetic women of childbearing age with the Institut National de Santé Publique.
As a HealthIntelAct Fellow, Sarah will pursue doctoral research on making healthcare systems more sustainable, helping decision-makers consider climate impacts when shaping policies and practices. Her focus will be on practical ways to cut emissions, strengthen resilience, and ensure that environmental goals align with the everyday realities of healthcare delivery.
