Kathrine Hald

I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Danish Center for Health Services Research at Aalborg University. I am a trained clinical dietitian and hold both a Master’s degree and a PhD in epidemiology.

My research is situated within the field of implementation science, with a particular focus on applied, clinical implementation. I am especially interested in how evidence-based knowledge can be systematically and meaningfully integrated into routine healthcare practice. Across my projects, I work with questions related to context, sustainability, and the practical realities of implementation in complex healthcare systems. I collaborate internationally, including with the Australian Institute of Health Innovation at Macquarie University in Sydney, which has provided valuable insights into comparative health systems and cross-national implementation approaches.

As a supervisor, I aim to create a reflective and structured environment that supports critical thinking and professional development. I see implementation science not only as a research field, but as a strategic lens for improving healthcare quality through actionable, evidence-informed change.
