Dr. Catherine Goetzinger is a Healthcare Quality Expert at the National Health Observatory in Luxembourg, where she works on advancing healthcare metrics and quality initiatives. With a PhD in Public Health from the University of Luxembourg and Luxembourg Institute of Health, Dr. Goetzinger’s research focused on digital health solutions to improve therapy adherence in breast cancer. She also holds an MSc in Epidemiology and a BSc in European Public Health from Maastricht University.
Dr. Goetzinger’s career is distinguished by contributions to patient-reported outcomes (such as medication adherence and quality of life), medication adherence technologies, and healthcare system performance evaluation. She has held roles as a Public Health Expert, PhD candidate and Research Assistant at respected institutions, contributing to national reports and internationally recognized publications.
Fluent in Luxembourgish, English, French, and German, Dr. Goetzinger has co-authored a book chapter and numerous peer-reviewed articles. Her work underscores a strong dedication to interdisciplinary research, advancing of public health strategies, and improving healthcare quality.
