I am a senior researcher and associate professor at the Danish Center for Health Services Research at Aalborg University and Alborg University Hospital.
My research lies at the intersection of clinical epidemiology and health services research, with a strong focus on promoting equitable and high-quality healthcare. I am particularly passionate about addressing health inequalities and improving care pathways for individuals affected by psychiatric conditions, cancer, and other chronic diseases.
With a background in public health science and a PhD in clinical epidemiology, my work bridges disciplines to examine how healthcare systems can better respond to the needs of diverse populations. I collaborate internationally across Europe and the United States, which enrich my work with international perspectives. My research spans topics such as healthcare access, treatment and outcomes, system-level quality improvements, and determinants of health.
